Terms of Service
Effective June 13, 2026
These Terms govern your use of Majick (the “Service”), which builds, deploys, and operates web apps and sites on your behalf. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Your account
You must provide accurate information and are responsible for activity under your account. You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction. Keep your sign-in method secure; tell us promptly of any unauthorized use.
2. The service — beta / experimental
Majick interviews you, generates a specification, builds and tests software, and deploys it to infrastructure on your behalf. Majick is beta, experimental software. It is provided on an evolving basis and may change, break, lose data, be interrupted, or be discontinued at any time, without notice. Outputs are generated by automated systems and may contain errors, security flaws, or unexpected behavior; you are responsible for reviewing, testing, and backing up anything you publish or rely on, before and after it goes live. Do not use the Service for high-risk or safety-critical purposes (see our Acceptable Use Policy).
3. Acceptable use
Your use of the Service is governed by our Acceptable Use Policy, which is part of these Terms. In short: don’t use the Service to build or host anything unlawful, infringing, malicious, deceptive, or abusive, to harm others, to violate others’ rights or privacy, to send spam, or to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the Service or others’ systems. You are solely responsible for ensuring everything you build is lawful in every place it operates. We may decline to build, remove, or suspend anything that breaches the Policy, and terminate accounts that do.
4. Your content & ownership
You retain ownership of the content and data you provide and, as between you and us, of the application we build for you. You grant us the rights needed to operate the Service — including building, hosting, monitoring, and backing up your app. You’re responsible for having the rights to any content you upload as context.
5. Plans, credits & billing
Paid plans and prepaid build credits are billed through our payment processor. Subscriptions renew until cancelled. Build and change operations consume credits as described at purchase. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. Prices and credit costs may change with notice.
6. Third-party services
The Service relies on third parties (e.g. hosting, payments, AI model providers, email). Your use may be subject to their terms, and their availability is outside our control.
7. Disclaimers
The Service is beta and experimental and is provided “as is” and “as available,” with all faults and without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don’t warrant that the Service or any generated software will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or fit for any purpose, or that data won’t be lost. You use the Service, and rely on anything it produces, at your own risk.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Majick will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim.
9. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or to protect the Service. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; data handling follows our Privacy Policy.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be posted here with an updated effective date; continued use after changes means you accept them.
