This Policy explains what Majick collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to the Majick service for building, deploying, and operating apps.

1. What we collect

Account info — your email address and basic profile details you provide.
Content you provide — your messages to Stan, specifications, and any files or images you upload as build context.
Apps & infrastructure data — the apps we build for you and operational metadata (build logs, deploy status, health checks, backups).
Billing — subscription and credit records; card details are handled by our payment processor, not stored by us.
Usage & device data — basic logs needed to run and secure the Service.

2. How we use it

To provide and operate the Service — interview, build, test, deploy, monitor, back up, and support your apps; to process payments; to secure and improve the Service; and to communicate with you about your account. Your content may be sent to AI model providers to generate your spec and app.

3. How we share it

We share data with service providers that help us run Majick (hosting, payments, AI model providers, email/transactional messaging), under agreements limiting their use to providing those services. We may disclose data to comply with law or protect rights and safety. We do not sell your personal information.

4. Cookies

We use essential cookies for sign-in and security. We don’t use non-essential tracking cookies for advertising.

5. Data retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active and as needed to operate the Service and meet legal obligations. Backups of tenant apps are retained for a limited window after deletion, then removed.

6. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data (including encryption of secrets and backups). No system is perfectly secure; we can’t guarantee absolute security.

7. Your choices & rights

You can access and update your account information, and request export or deletion of your data, subject to legal limits. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights; contact us to exercise them.

8. Children

The Service isn’t directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we don’t knowingly collect their data.

9. Changes

We may update this Policy. Material changes will be posted here with a new effective date.
